How we work with you
Step one: listening visit
We begin on your site with a structured conversation about how outdoor space should feel at different hours and seasons. Measurements, photos, and soil probes happen simultaneously so the visit respects your time.
Within three days you receive a short brief confirming scope, fee estimate, and timeline. No design work starts until you sign our letter of engagement and pay the forty percent deposit.
Step two: concept draft
Concept plans arrive as PDF overlays on a surveyed base map, showing zones, major planting masses, and primary materials. A companion essay explains trade-offs you might not see on the drawing alone.
One revision round is included. Additional iterations are billed at €95 per hour to keep projects moving; most clients resolve feedback in a single video call lasting under an hour.
Step three: technical package
After concept approval we produce planting schedules, setting-out dimensions, lighting locations, and contractor notes. Files are layered so landscapers can isolate irrigation from paving without confusion.
Technical delivery typically takes four to six weeks depending on site complexity. Rush delivery within three weeks incurs a fifteen percent surcharge disclosed upfront.
Step four: installation support
We remain reachable by email during construction for clarification. Optional site visits during planting cost €180 each and include marked corrections on a printed plan left with the crew lead.
We do not supervise daily labour or certify structural works—that remains the contractor's licensed responsibility under Austrian building practice.
Step five: handover walk
When planting is complete we walk the garden with you, comparing reality to plans and noting any substitutions. A punch list for the contractor may result if spacing or species differ without approval.
Handover booklets summarise care for the first year. Many clients book a spring refresh visit at this stage to lock learning while memory of the installation is fresh.
